This project by Walter Langelaar, Gordon Savičić and Danya Vasiliev caused a great flurry of attention when it was initiated, including legal threats from Facebook. Basically the program deleted the users social media profile allowing her areturn to to analogue existence. Since then the artists have been busy on a number of projects.
Savičić ” is fascinated by new issues of our contemporary existence caused by the effects of new media on subjectivity and its deep social implications. He is interested in imposing and applying the assumed (computed) reality within different realms to discuss its potential future and exploit. Main research areas around his projects include game cultures, digital and urban interventions, architecture, pervasive computing as well as open source technologies.”
Vasiliev’s projects have been based around ” re-examination and exploitation of Network paradigms in physical and digital realms.” Both artists have been active recently as part of the Weisestr 7 project
